That's what complacency and "the respect of the world" will get you. If you are stronger than the bully, you better stand up for yourself, or he'll continue to pummel you into oblivion.
Iraq a mistake? Only according to liberals who cannot see past the next election. Gee, let's see - Libya gave up it's WMD's (yes, THEY admitted they have them), Iran strangely admitted having something, Afghanistan is no longer a terririst stronghold and the terrorist from Iraq cannot infiltrate into it, we are killing Al Qaeda by the thousand (by your own admission) and the country is actually better off that a year ago, and France lost an oil deal worth $6 billion. Yup, you are right, we should have had additional 14 resolutions, until French would decided that sanctions are over . What was that you said before about war being the last resort? Gee, You were right, Bush should have waited for another 8 years, just like Clinton did. Maybe some of this terrorists would have hit whatever rock you are hiding under...

Odd. More guys died under one terrorist incident under Reagan (230 marines, Lebanon) than all those other presidents you mentioned combined. Reagan dealt with it by hi-tailing it out of there. Doesn't sound too strong to me.

The 14 resolutions you mentioned, at this point its looking like Saddam was actually in compliance with them, while we were the ones who were lying. Funny, I think thats what the French said. I also don't think Georgie boy has done anything about fighting "terrorists". We've had no one come up with any connection between Al-queda and Iraq. Funny you should mention French and not other sources. re-read Kay's report. he actually found proof of at least 16 violations of UN resolutions (substantial breaches) any one of which could have been used as legal basis for invasion. I know, liberals have an attention span of one Teddy Kennedy speech, and Kay's report came out last year. I suggest you google it and read it FOR YOURSELF.

Lebanon incident happened 3 years after Jihad was declared. it was the first such act (and the last under Reagan) against US. Clinton had 10 years to be briefed on it. However, Warren Christopher said : "we do not have to fight terrorism. our strenght is the economy."

I doubt this as well. But why exactly would you rest your case? I thought the post was rather coherent and expressive of the guys views over a broad range of issues. As opposed to your method of post after post, one long post and probably the only one, no need to continually post the same opinion.
