Feeling Guilty
Im a student. I was layed off from my former job and in search of a new one. I landed a evening office job from a freind that works at this place but I didnt like it too much so the next day I told them I found a new job and I wont be coming back which is not true....no new job. I quit mostly because the shifts were from 5-midnite in the evenings and its just a bit much with school even though I wouldnt be working everyday.
Now I feel terrible for quitting moslty for money reasons down the road. I had some other interviews and I know I wont be jobless for a long time but for now. Im such an ediot sometimes. Thanks for letting me vent. |
Don't lie. What you should have done is tell your friend that you didn't like it and that you didn't want to come back. It was a mistake and you had no clue that you would feel that way. You could have worked things out or something.
You could tell your friend now that you feel like an idiot and tell him that you really don't have a job. It was a mistake compounded by another mistake. But now you know you shouldn't have said anything. It's simple. |
Im not feeling guilty towards my friend, she just referred me there and she doesnt care what I do with the job. I feel guilty because after all the job hunting I get something and ditch it but when you have school its hard to work till midnite.

Ya I see what you mean. My freind said with that company and knowing them, they would probably let me back but there is another job pending that I have coming. Judging by the interview it looks promising but thats my opinion and I have bad luck.
