Honda Prelude a/c rebuild

I am in the process of going through the a/c system on a 1992 Honda Prelude (for hire). Man I wish the guy that engineered the system in the Honda had done the W123/126. This has, by far got to be one of the easiest evaporators to remove of ANY car out there. It is a piece of cake compared to the early 80's Mercedes.

I have attached a pic of the dirty evaporator. This is the reason all the car manufacturers went to a "cabin filter".

Man, you need a leaf blower to get rid off all that junk!

Looks more like the condenser should. Actually, even that doesnt suck in as much junk.

At least the TXV is easier to get to on a Benz. well, mine anyway, i dunno about the older ones?

Tell that dude to stop parking under trees! He's lucky that he doesn't have squirrels and birds in there!!!:D

It's finished - blowing good cold air using r12:).
Everything came out good. The only issue I see now is that I am getting air blowing out in the footwell in every position except defroast. I'll be troubleshooting that tomorrow.

This is by far one of the easier evaporators to remove/install that I have ever seen.
