stuttering pontiac sunbird???
 

Just bought a 94 sunbird, it seems to have a hesitation while applying throttle.
Give her a little gas and she'll shake away give her a lot and she'll run smooth. curious.....
This is the first car I've owned with a totally electronic ignition system... could that be the problem?
I've had problems like this in the past with different cars but the fix was simple.. new cap/ rotor/ plugs perhaps a slight timing adjustment or even a new fuel filter.
She's a 2.0 L4 oh I almost forgot she'll also stutter in neutral/park if I apply some fuel, runs smooth on idle, so it almost sounds like some sort of intermittant fuel starvation
Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Best guess? Mass air flow sensor and/or one or more of your ignition coils...you have one for each cylinder I believe (coils that is)...
