It's past the midnight hour for Husky's mandatory functional MRI and Psychological battery of testing for whack jobs. Test everyone once a week just to make sure their engines are running on all eight cylinders I say. If they start missing a few cylinders, off to Alcatraz, the moon or perhaps the planet Mars.

A society free of whack jobs, we can only dream..........

Different names, labels. At it core, it was a belief that he, the shooter, could accurately identify people who were among the 'problem' subset. And that he was in the group that embodied righteousness and honor.

As he deftly shifts to a tangential point.

This just in: things and events are different from other things and events.

Here's a choice for you Jake. Are you going to remove military stickers and things so you are not a target? This morning my wife said that I need to remove that stuff from my vehicles. My initial reaction was, oh yeah, I guess so. Then about five seconds later I said heck no. Im not going to hide from these cowards.

It's always interesting to see how you make those horrible events about yourself.

About me? How so? Am I not allowed to voice my own feelings on this forum? Actually I was asking Jake how he feels about it as a veteran, but since you insist on butting in so rudely:

How about your RESPONSE to my comment? Are YOU ready to run and hide, or are tou one to stand your ground when threats are possible?

This guy was a deranged maniac. Sad for the marines.

However, I fail to see how political correctness has anything to do with this.

Exactly. This is the common thread between the shootings in TN and the shootings in SC.

Unfortunately, the part that's not funny is we invaded Iraq and brought about the deaths of an unknown but large number of Iraqis. 100,000 perhaps. Some among us tried to point out that such things have blowback, and the thing about cutting off one head on the beast and two growing back.

Oh, we locked and loaded in Iraq all right. Let freedom ring.

What are you talking about?

Didn't you get the memo...there were WMDs in Iraq, just like they master-minded 911
