And when will "they" call it terrorism?

Enemy of the American People, or just frustrated snowflakes?

"The shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., by a man authorities identify as a left-wing activist has drawn attention to a darker side of progressive America, especially to those groups that directly or indirectly advocate violence against their opponents.

The emergence of violence-prone individuals, such as Scalise’s shooter, and extremist progressive groups broadens the nation’s conversation about political violence to include liberals as well as conservatives, many of whom are often labeled as fascists by mainstream media and progressive leaders.

Many Republican leaders and conservative experts said the violence allegedly committed by James T. Hodgkinson, a volunteer on the presidential campaign of Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders, was an outgrowth of hostility toward Trump and Republicans underscored by actions such as those of Kathy Griffin, Snoop Dogg, Madonna and the Public Theater’s production of “Julius Caesar,” which portrayed Julius Caesar, who is assassinated in the play.

Many political experts note that those high-profile cases of promoting violence are just the tip of an iceberg that remains on the margins of public awareness."

It's not terrorism to shoot a conservative. Dang, don't you know that?

But just as it's vitally important that we refer to terrorist acts committed by Muslims as Radical Islamic Terrorism, we need to decide what is the proper term to us with this guy. Lessee, maybe 'radical American progressive leftist' terrorism? I know, doesn't roll off the tongue.

A few days ago I was talking to a guy who writes conspiracy theories. Yeah, they have to start somewhere and there are those with radio shows that pay well for new scripts to work from.

So he was trying to develop one about this shooter having a terminal illness and how he was going to go out in a blaze of glory. I asked him if any of that were true and he said for his clients it didn't matter. After all, don't I write fiction as well?

His problem is that if this were tossed out there it would not cause any outrage. It would not light up the phone lines and it would not keep people tuned in for three hours. It would not make them tune in tomorrow for the rest of the 'newly found' details.

This is because it makes sense.

I pointed out the difference between the trash I write and his is that mine has to make sense. The less sense his makes the better since the listeners fill in the gaps that are so important to pushing fake news.

So.... How's Trump doing on finding Obama's real birth certificate?

Just like fixing the largest hole in your roof first before worrying about the little holes we should focus on our most virulent and numerous enemy.

9/11 showed which enemy has the potential for the most damage.

What's with the Marxist label anyhow? Seriously? Anybody I don't agree with is a Marxist fecktard? What's the difference between that and Anybody I don't agree with is a Nazi Fascist bastid?
Talk about scraping the bottom of the slurbarrel.

I'm thinking maybe the designation is meant for anyone who wants to use tax dollars for anything other than defense or highways. Not sure where the lines are drawn. But yeah, it's way shy of actual Marxism.

I read Marx manifesto years ago. I thought there might be some good stuff in there to rip off.

Nope. It has to be one of the dumbest string of words I ever wasted my time on.

One thing I did learn from it: Most of the people who call other Marxists don't understand Marxism.

An interesting footnote.... Marx saw his form of economics taking off in the US where the workforce was skilled and could control the means of production. But controlling the means of production is useless if you don't know how to sell the finished product.

Marx would have never dreamed a serf type of society like Russia could make Marxism work. So in that sense he was correct.
