Seems to be that everyone is jumping the gun by assuming they know what will be said at 3PM, today. Would it not be smarter to wait and see what he says? He may conclude that your position ( whichever that is) is correct.

You give the GOP way too much credit. There could be political reasons for the GOP not pursuing this--much like the arguments here. It is possible that they viewed it as not helping them regardless of the outcome.
Let's just wait and see what the report really says--then tear it apart.

No, the Chief probably didn't, but the issue has made many in DC squeamish and probably to the point of dismissing it so it would go away.

Progressive control of the country by all means necessary is right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook and installing a bogus President isn't too far fetched either.
