In a hole in the ground one would be protected until they exposed themselves for the most part.

Agreed. So how long can you stay in your hole? A day? A week? Maybe a month? And how long can you hold your breath? The air needs to be properly filtered and they probably will run out of supplies sooner or later.

I realize that....we shortly will get our asses kicked for going off topic too.

Cat's ass would be an underground detonation.
Fuel/Air bomb over the area would suck out all the air from the caves during detonation.....I think they were looking at that as a 'nicer' option than a nuke.

Nuclear Bunker Busters?

FAE bombs would be 2nd best, Death by asphyxiation is quicker than radiation poisoning.

roberts.
alito.
kennedy.
scalia.
thomas.

that's five.

and, yes, it may kill obama's chances for re-election.

so what. obama is just a slick hustler, and romney will only speed up the "endgame". and, no, it won't be pretty, seeing the haves fighting the have-nots. but, hey, it is the future.

I'm not so sure. Kennedy may be the swing vote, and I still don't think Romney is electable, even as a place-holder. Never the less, I'm buying more brass and powder as a hedge.

kennedy is a libertarian.

romney does seem unelectable, only because the christian right thinks mormonism is a cult. (unlike their beliefs, which seem like a cult to me???)

as for the brass and powder, well, i don't want to go there. not a real believer in some full on 'apocalypse". can't really know what will happen. think it will be more like the u.s. in the 30's? except there's no fdr waiting in the wings this time.

.
The Christian right needs to understand that the election is not between a Christian and a Mormon. The Christianity as evidenced by the President is simply radical progressive politics masquerading as a form of Christianity.
The religion of the president in this election has no bearing on the issues.

The media on the left and right slings crap to see what will stick. Religion is the good old standby. They will really push the Mormon thing soon enough. When it becomes an approved talking point it will be all over these threads.

Easy: They're ALL cults.

Anyway I don't think Willard will be winning this thing and I'm planning on voting Libertarian this time around, like I did in '04.

Of COURSE he is.

Some people just love to argue for the mere joy of arguing itself.

of course it has no bearing on the issues. however, ronald reagan - and later the two bushes - proved that pandering to the christian right wins elections.

p.s. obama is a "radical progressive politician"? who happens to pal around with the goldman sachs boys? really? i think pathological narcissist/ dirty chicago politician would be more accurate.

anyhow, there won't be much difference between a willard presidency and a barry presidency.
