Univision and the Hispanic Vote

Univision ( the largest Spanish language channel on US TV), has been airing some tough reports on Fast and Furious, and asking hard questions that the MSM has refused to ask.
The conventional wisdom is that Obama owns the Hispanic vote.
I wonder if this might have an impact.
What do you all think?

I've seen the Univision report that's being bandied about by Breitbart, Limpbag and the rest of the RWNJ blogistas. Have you watched Univision news consistently and their reporting on this, or only seen the little edited clips on Breitbart? It's quite a bit more balanced than either the opinion pieces on the right or the mainstream news channels' reporting.
Considering how much else in on latino voters' plates right now, and also considering the wildly popular decision to allow <30 indocumentados to apply for permission to remain here, I doubt it'll make any sort of serious dent in the latino vote. Hoping it will is just Republican wishful thinking, similar to hoping Obama would somehow lose enough of the "Jewish vote" to make a difference.

Nope. The conventional wisdom is right. But I'd qualify that a little with "the Democrats own the Hispanic vote". Doesn't matter who their presidential candidate is the dems will always have the hispanic vote. Single biggest reason for their embracing illegal immigration.

They beat Obama up pretty good in his interview and its grown as an issue due to all the dead Mexicans via fast and furious. Especially since it was revealed the vicious murder of those teens and F&F weapons involved.
WH has loads of troubles in the Latino community.

You know this because of your deep ties to the "Latino community"?

Sueños, sueños y nada mas.

Never said or implied that. It's quite obvious if you follow news from the other side of the border that the Mexican people and government aren't too happy with loads of dead Latino's from some stupid Norte Americano mission to shore up votes to redefine the 2nd.

¿Sueño, sueño y nada más o sólo más cargas de mamarracho?

If that was an attempt to ask if they were going to vote for Romney then yes.

Most realize of the two choices made available that Romney is the lesser of two evils.

I have had quite a few friends state that they are voting for the first time in their lives in the coming election. They dont participate in useless polls either.

Pretty much serious. The (few) Hispanics (how is that different from being a Spaniard?) that I know are strong Democrat Party supporters. Much like my father-in-law (a non Spaniard honkie), who wouldn't vote for a non-Democrat no matter what. Very strong party loyalty. Life is easier that way.
