My sig says it all. I'd have said my current 2000 Sonoma pickup given the endless trouble it's caused me, but to be honest I bought it used with about 80K on the clock. No telling how it was abused by the PO. Still shouldn't have caused me so much grief in my opinion.

But the award has to go to my 02 Kia Rio. POS out the box. No excuses for such utter crap on four wheels.

- Peter.

1972 Chevy luv truck. Everything was failing on that truck @ Low miles.
I can't even list everything that failed.

1971 Audi 100ls.....spectacularly went up in flames sitting at an intersection!
So much stuff went bad; I don't know where to begin.

1979 Fiat X1/9...Blown head gaskets, Alternators, hoses bursting, lights turning off at night, etc. (But Fun!)

1974 VEGA 34,000 miles... rusting holes in gas tank, steel brake lines bursting, head gaskets, wiper motor fire, huge rust holes...it had a wiring fire that burned up the car after I sold it.

1969 MGB....electrical everything; rapping on the fuel pump was normal for operation..... Glowing smoking switches. Alternators, starters, regulators, cracked head, etc...

'77 Ford E250 Clubwagon 460-4V from new. Kept blowing head gaskets and exhaust plugs in the head even with open exhaust and no overheating. AC wouldn't hold a charge for more than a couple of months even after throwing dealer parts at it. Ignition modules were an annual item. Tranny was solid.

For me it was a 1978 Fiat 128 Coupe.

Had good steering and suspension, but everything else was a train wreck.

The one and only local dealer was without question the worst I ever dealt with.

Fix It Again Tony

VW, ugh I'd rather eat a bullet than buy another VW.

My truck has had a few problems it shouldn't have, like three front wheel bearings failing and two steering racks. But at least since its a Chevy parts are cheap.

I still want to buy a fragile car with the Carmax warranty. They have some stuff they really should not offer a 125k warranty on!

http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/default.html?id=9986584&AVi=8&No=0&Rp=R&D=90&zip=06460&N=4294963073+285&Us=15&Q=8905532f-8825-4624-ba26-355276bc90c3&Ep=search:results:results%20page

How many warranty claims could this car have before it hits 125k...

It's like saying you have a single malt whiskey from Japan . . . uh oh . . .

Japan beats Scotland to win world’s best whiskey title - The Washington Post

I love the auto metaphor . . .

Ron Taylor, a Scottish spirit judge who claims to be a “nonpartisan” drinker, told Time it’s no surprise a Japanese whiskey won. Japanese distillers regularly win whiskey competitions, even in Scotland. He compared Japanese single malts to a Lexus: “beautifully crafted, no vibration, smooth, consistent and always pleasant.” Scottish whiskeys, on the other hand, are more like a Maserati: “They’ll knock you around and slap you around the face a little bit.”

Oh man, that's so horribly unreliable - but you should buy it.

Get a hitch and trailer, and it would be more functional that Ram you just ordered.

Very true, but there is one problem with that metaphor.... The Maserati won't stay running long enough to knock you up/slap you around!
