Cars and Coffee in Colombus Oh this morning

Today I was at my oldest daughters for my 6 mo. hip checkup. Afterward we went to the nearby Cars and Coffee. There was a fluid group of various cars there. Ford GT and Cobra (Factory five). A real Ford GT the second version, an MG TC, a Morgan, a very lovely original looking 55 Nomad, an original except for paint 64 Corvette coupe., a Lotus Exige, a 66 Ferrari 275 Spyder (I think), and a very cool very low Chopped and Channelled with no fenders 30 something Dodge Pickup with an early Hemi...cool!

There were plenty of other cars too like NOvas and such, Fieros dressed in Ferrari clothing (Cladding?).

I drove the M3 home. Its a steel top convertible with the newish V8. Its very firm ride and when you goose it a bit the engine snarled fiercely. The daughter likes driving it to work. She says her nice reliable R class is too boring.

Love that gal!

Oh yeah, the hip is fine they say. Just keep walking on it and try to pull in my duck walk left foot and keep up the theraputic stuff.

Lennox Cars and Coffee or the Byers meet?

I don't know if I was there on the 16th or not. Taken my 4.5 or the RHD Celica the last couple times. Too bad I didn't realize you were in town, always cool to meet forum people in person.

Have you seen the recent film, Columbus? I liked it. Best architectural film I've ever seen. Should be up your alley.

Cool! Thanks for the link. I might try to get the Mrs. to go with me to Indy or Chicago.
