Question What is the weirdest/funniest thing your car has ever done?

A couple of years ago at my uncle's house, his wife came home from work and asked why we had left his car (190e 2.3 16v) running outside, my uncle swore he didn't leave the car running and the key wasn't even in the ignition, he turned it off somehow and came back inside, somehow the car restarted itself, it did this at least three more times before we finally disconnected the battery which put an end to this problem for good.

Initial and more entertaining guesses were either the car was haunted or there was some prankster in the woods starting the car each time we turned it off, the correct guess was probably some kind of electrical malfunction.

Please tell me the funniest or weirdest thing your car or someone else's car has ever done that you have witnessed or heard about.

It doesn't have to be a benz either

Thanks for the laughs

Moving gas chamber with hole of death

Another anecdote, I once had this Uncle who had a VW beetle that had a large gaping hole in the floor, when riding you had to be extra careful to make sure your foot did not go in that hole so you had to sit with your legs splayed apart. To make matters even worse, in traffic, smoke would come in thru that hole and since his windows didn't work well you were actually in a moving gas chamber, sometimes I wonder how I survived that death trap. Later on he put some kind of wooden plank over the hole.

I bought a 2 year old Dodge Intrepid and had the dealership (not Dodge) put an alarm system on it with a remote starter. For 3 weeks I would look out the window at work and the lights would be flashing, the locks would go up and down and on occasion the trunk would open and the horn would honk. I took it back and it already had an alarm system on it and they were conflicting but it was quite a show for all my fellow employees.

I used to have an 86 audi 5000cs quattro, and it had an auxiliary electric fan like most cars do, except it was a little different; it would come on whenever it wanted. If it was a hot day, and I was outside for some reason, the audi would sometimes just start the fan out of nowhere. Kinda caught me by surprise a few times, but I got used to it.
