my car got smooshed!

hello friends - i haven't been on to write for awhile, and i would like to wish everyone a happy new year, and all the best in 2003. i started off the new year in a not so good way. my car got smooshed by a deer last week sunday. i was on highway 50 in kenosha, wis., on my way back to the seminary in mundelein, and he came out of nowhere. someone was right along side me, so i couldn't swerve to miss him, and he totally destroyed the passenger side front of the car. he did $7000 in damage to my beloved 190e, but thankfully, the car will be repaired by the insurance company. it's at the body shop now and will take one month to fix!! i couldn't imagine what would have happened if it would have been a toyota or other crakcer-jack type car. the car didn't even flinch off the road when i hit the deer. i sure do feel safe in it. thought i would attach some pictures:

it could have been much more serious, and for my safety i give thanks and am grateful. i hope no one else had any unfortunate happenings over the holidays!!

best wishes & prayers-
michael.
