Driver's Side Seat Rebuild

Hello All,

I ran search for rebuiling a 210 seat but didn't find anything. My '96 E300 has what might be the most uncomfortable driver's seat I've ever sat in. However, the passenger's seat feals fine so I'm guessing that after 100K my seat springs have given out.

So, where besides the dealership can I find a set of springs (would like to save $$) and how hard is the replacement on this model?

Finally, a question for the other 210 owners out there. How happy are you with the comfort of your seats? I had a 124 E300 before this one and loved the MB-Tex seat in it. My current seat is MB-Tex as well, but I'm not so sure that it's as good as the tex that Benz used in the prior models. It seams a little rougher and not as pliable.

Anyway, thanks for the help in advance.

Munsey
