Stupid Question!

I hate to ask this but, I must know. On this forum and others I have seem people post one word replies like "BUMP". What does this mean? Also, what do the initials IMHO (in my humble opinion?) mean?

Thanks

No stupid question from me.

However, I am known to post a stupid answer from time to time!
