Alignment Salt Lake City
I am looking for decent place in Salt Lake City for my 300td. Do any of you know a place, if not, can you recommend what to look for in a shop that does alignment. My tires are wearing in the inside edges.

If it is a 124, take it to the dealer. They will have the spreader bar to perform the alignment correctly. I just had mine done and it was $99.

You can get it pretty close by yourself. All you need is a level and a big wrench. That's what I did after my Sears "alignment".

It is a 123 and after I have done some reading, I am not sure it is just the alignment, any other items to look for with the inner front tires wearing quickly?

If you click on User CP, in the upper left corner, you can put your car in the signature line. You can also add your location. Sometimes you will get more answers if your car model and location are available.

I've taken several cars to Mercedes Benz of Lindon for alignment. The service and parts department have treated me very well, done a great job and the prices are quite reasonable. Several of the mechanics drive 123's. Be prepared for them to tell you your car needs $1,200 worth of front end work (because it probably does) but just tell them you'd like the best alignment possible with the condition it's in. Should cost about 80 bucks.
Personally, I'd do the mechanics a favor by going to a carwash to steam clean the undercarraige before taking it in. I do the same before I work on the car myself and I like to give the technician every advantage to do a good job. They don't like standing under a grease pit any more than you. They will wash the rest of the car before giving it back to you.
