This is the machine shop that MBI Motors contracts their head work out to. I took the head from my 300E there for a full R&R a couple months ago, and it's worked flawlessly since I put the motor back together. Their services are a bit pricey, but I think you get what you pay for.

Agreed! Bearing service has been doing service in the same place since 1918(If I remember right)
They did my 103 head, and it purrrrrs like a kitten!!!

I would also say that they know what they're doing, and they do it competently. I've been very pleased with my OM616 rebuild. Not cheap, but worth it to know that it was done right. Plus, it's cool to go in the shop and see all the unusual engines that they're working on: any given day you're likely to see a six foot marine diesel crank sitting on the floor.
