Mercedes-savvy locksmith in Portland
I thought I would pass on what I learned in the course of chasing down ignition lock problems on my 240D... the go-to shop for old-school Mercedes key work is AA Express Locksmith:
AA Express They can re-key your ignition lock tumbler to match your VIN number, reportedly; when I talked to them they said that they stock all the disks that are used within the cylinder. Price to re-key a Mercedes tumbler is roughly $25 to $45. I can't say whether they are the place to go for routed keys or transponder keys; you're on your own there. Kurt
