I'm looking at a Renntech E60RS, fully done. Full history, no stories. Anybody had any experience with these cars. The offical word is that most of the routine maintance can be handled by my local dealer, with the only real change being an oil change every 4k or so.

Any of the techs on the forum ever work on these or talked to someone who has?

Have driven several Renntech modified models but not 6L V-8. These cars are generly overpriced due to expense of modifications. If money flows then any of the "tuner" cars are great.

Car & Driver has driven one of those monsters....generally, it's a very impressive mechine.....if you have the dough(and guts)to handle such a monster, go for it....

Yes the routine maintance can be performed at a dealer or independent. We have serviced several of Hartmuts cars over the years. Take care when servicing a Renntech car like it was a vintage racer for it might have coilovers or helm jointed rear links. And these may be totally different for the technician thats working on the car. They are easy to work on and all service parts are available from Renntech.Good luck with your new car.

Can anyone give me the URL to Renntech for MB? I have tried Renntech.com but it was some online Casino. Thanks.
