What is top speed of limiter disabled V12 W140?

What would the top speed of a 95 S600 be if not limited?

There's no place around Chicago I'd feel comfortable doing that speed. Someday though I'll be on a stretch of road that will let me wring out the 'ol V12.

I think 175-180 is more like it. Did you take the limiter off of your car? What about the ASR do you know how to break that by any chance? Also make sure you have tires that can not only handle the speed but the massive weight of a W140 going that fast.

I would imagin their are a few nice roads out west that would be perfect for that kind of run.

i pretty sure its around 180, on the highway cruisin at 110, my pops car is around 3600 rpm, if you do the math, it will come out to 180 +or - a few mph at 6000 rpm at redline...and once you factor in the coeffienient of drag, you get just below 180 or so.

Just a guess...165-170.

Reasoning: My CLK55 AMG has a better power-to-weight ratio and a sleeker coeffient of drag (.31 vs. .32) and reportedly tops out "delimited" at around 175.

Probably at most 160 or 165 due to drag and weight.
