Are you going to add the clear repeater to the fender as well? I think it looks really cool on the w124.

Here is what I am considering for tail lights:

HELLA part numbers:

1/2 Grey 1/2 Red HELLA Left Assembly with reversing light and rear fog lamp: 2VP 004 686-151

1/2 Grey 1/2 Red HELLA Right Assembly with reversing light and rear fog lamp:2VP 004 686-181

Or maybe just the lenses. Here are the Lens part numbers:

1/2 Grey 1/2 Red HELLA Left Lens: 9EL 129 763 021
1/2 Grey 1/2 Red HELLA Right Lens: 9EL 129 762 031

Otherwise this may be my other option:

Color design By HELLA Smoked Left and Right Set: 2SK 004 686 811

Color design By HELLA Smoked Left and Right Set with Center Panel: 2SK 004 686 801. That part number is for the tail lights and the center panel sold as a set. I'm not interested in the center panel, just thought I'd share. Center Panel part bumber as a separate item is : 8XU 005 180 031

Anyone have lights with these part numbers?

according to my notes from when I bought one of each when I was in germany, the above are the bosh ones, and the below are the hella ones.

124 826 07 43 LF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR
124 826 08 43 RF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR

I can confirm with my own eyes, that the hella lights are slightly darker clear, than the bosch ones. I personally think that the hella ones look the best.
You are the best!!! Thank you so much!!! I have spent countless hours and nights working on getting this info and now I finally have the answer. You're a lifesaver.

I haven't had a chance to think about those ones yet. I have spent all my energy searching for the correct part numbers for the corner lights, head lights and tail lights. This has been an incredible learning experience.
To answer your question, why not :p

I have 4 sets of Hella turn signals.

Im expecting a set of 500E hella euro headlights at the beginning / middle of october, but I have 5 sets of vacuum adjustment kits.

I sold my smoked hella taillights last spring. They are a little hard to get. Im sure wherever you got all those pictures, you can get it from them. Email me if you want any of this stuff from me.

Take care....bed time.

Right:000 820 13 66

HELLA Up to 1993 (500e) Part Numbers:

Left : ?
Right: ?

Mercedes OEM 1994 and up (e500) Part Numbers:

Was:
Left: 124 820 03 57
Right:124 820 04 57

Current Part Numbers:
Left: 124 820 35 57
Right:124 820 36 57

Lens Part Numbers:
Left: 124 820 57 66
Right:124 820 58 66

HELLA 1994 and up (e500) Part Numbers:

Current Part Numbers:
Left : 1EJ 007 219 317 supplied with H3 driving light function and is supplied with all bulbs.
Right: 1EJ 007 219 327 supplied with H3 driving light function and is supplied with all bulbs.

Left : 1EJ 007 219 041 with H3 fog light function and is supplied without all bulbs.
Right: 1EJ 007 219 051 with H3 fog light function and is supplied without all bulbs.

I also found these Part Numbers:

Current Part Numbers:
Left Assembly:1EJ 007 219 051 with headlamp levelling.
Right Assembly:1EJ 007 219 061with headlamp levelling.

Left Lens:9AH 144 815 021 housing or retaining rim with cover lens.
Right Lens:9AH 144 816 021 housing or retaining rim with cover lens.

Below is a picture with the 2 different lenses.

What are the chances you can confirm or correct these part numbers?

You cannot get the E500 Euro lights from Hella. You can only get them from Mercedes. However, you can buy the 500E lights from Hella, and buy the E500 lenses from Mercedes, and swap the lenses on. Austin is the expert on this, I'll let him explain further if necessary...

:p

I posted a thread on this a while back when I did mine. If you do a search, you can read about the whole process.

To summarize, you can buy just the lenses from the dealer. I got mine from Tom Hanson at Caliber Motors. You will need to replace the clear bulb with a yellow one, but a yellow bulb with right pin orientation isn't made. You have two choices on the bulb:

1. Purchase a yellow bulb and file down one of the pins so that you can insert the bulb and turn it. It works fine.

2. Buy from www.litebulbs.com . They will take a clear bulb with the correct pin orientation and dye it yellow for you. I ordered several at about $2.00 / bulb.
