i found this while surfing around i thought some of u might enjoy this.
http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=6&i=54674&t=54674 everyone says for all that work couln't u just buy the thing? i thought the F50 was like $500K and only 349 were made nice work they did on it i think. reminds me of the SEC to SLR conversion. however i think this was better made.

pretty instesting read....
but for all those mods.....in reality he's not gonna really fool too many people we all know benz's......it would be the same as if someone modded their accord or camary to a benz....it might someone who got a quick look but in the end....no one's really be fooled as it just won't look right i would of sold the nsx and used the money for the mods and bought a 360 or something....sure its not a F50 but its a real ferrari and it will kick the NSX all day everyday (except when its not in the garage being serviced....the NSX works like other Hondas :-)) ren |

if he bought the NSX new, he shoulda got an old 355 for the same price, and it at least has a V8 for 100K. And dicks like me, race everything. Right now my car cant beat even an NSX but someone can, and its more pitiful for a F50 to lose to a Camaro ss or something than an NSX losing. it would be hard getting anyone to believe that wimpy V6 is a supercar v12. I think this sort of thing is just stupid sorry. Good craftsmanship to waste on stupid ideas

It is very easy to distinguish this F50 from a real F50, but I must say that this project inspires me. Shows you that with enough creativity and money, anything is possible. Have you all seen the company that converts older benzes to look like newer models. Like w140 to w220 or w124 to w210?? Haven't checked back with them to see newer conversions but I can get you all the website if you would like to see some of the cars.

That one? Pretty cool how they can do it, but still I dont see the point. Unless you really like the rear/front end or roof line of one car and not the other but like the front/rear end of the other. A lot of them clash, like the 124 to 210 conversion I think. Buts good work it looks like, I wish I had the talent. |

i hope you guys realize that you cannot, i repeat cannot buy an F50... they are available only for lease and you had better have a ton of money. there is also a clause in the lease that states that if ferrari wants the car back they can have it back. and you thought for $500,000 you could buy one. dont believe me? go to the website and find out for yourself.

A Ferrari emblem on a Japanese car...seems sacrilegious!

I give them credit for doing a lot of good work. But what's the point? Now after spending all of that money they have an NSX that has tons on crap stuck on it that a stock NSX can whip! Besides the NSX is pretty sharp looking to begin with. I looks like an F50 from certain angles but it will only fool some people but not many. I would rather buy or lease a real one for the money.
