Arrow ~VIDEO~ 190E 3.2 vs C36!!!!

1990 190E 3.2 performance mods:

-Engine swap with M104 from a 1995 E320 w/ 722.4 auto tranny
-Remus Muffler
-High Temp. paint on the spark plug cover
-Hasn't been washed since August (drag co-efficiant went up by 6.8 lol)
-3.27:1 diff. ratio

1995 C36 performance mods:

-Full 3" exhaust, mandrel bent, jet hotted, ceramic coated, hi-flow cat, magnaflow muffler (estimated 285+hp)
-Has been in rain once... (that makes it faster!)
-2.85:1 diff. ratio

Good race! I'm sure the 190 could have gotten into the 14's at 2000 ft altitude, but he was probably nervous cause it was his first time at a track so he wasn't doing a good job with his driving skillz Here is the jist of the run. The posted track time INCLUDES the minusing of the reaction time. So non the less, the posted times are of the car's 1/4 no matter if they started differently. The person in the 190's reation time was .128 and the guy in the C36 was .666 (don't ask). Some people say "Wow, bad driver", I agree, for the person in the 190, VERY BAD DRIVER (he sucks). C36 driver, very skilled, he's probably a certified PLAYA cause he gots a lot of skill! He was raised around Mercedes, he wasn't letting off the throttle. Any ways... Enough talk for me. I don't know why it's so unbelievable! Every one is trying to find logical reasons and explinations why it turned out the way it did... Why can't the reason just be that the car is somewhat fast in the 1/4?!

2 cars running down a 1/4 strip shot from 1 camera position and fading out of sight. Try harder next time.

Thanks for sharing!

So, the C36 is the one with the loud, slightly raspy exhaust note that can clearly be heard changing up gears over the 3.2?

Super Score for the "Old School" Benzo's.

I love your reaction time, that C36 was sounding like a civic.

Rolex, I give you upmost props on the motor swap and mods, your 190 is a real "street sleeper". The video might be a little fuzzy, but the fact is, you still blew the doors off that W202.

Ya pentoman, The C36 was the one that has the exhaust (with kind of a raspy flavor to it, it sounds good when it's idling). If you notice, the C36 takes a much long time to change his gears because of his 2.85:1 diff. ratio. You can semi hear my engine and tranny changing gears very quickly because of my 3.27:1 NON LSD diff. ratio. I want to go back to the track cause I'm sure I can get into the 14.8's I just have to get my driving skills a little better. and THANK YOU mike690003 for the compliments! They are greatly appreciated and I'll keep you updated on upcoming mods! If you want to go to my car's website and look at some more pics and mods and things, go to: This SITE!

Sean D., what was your RT? What was the C36's RT? So you posted the video where you won, not when the C36 won? LOL. Scan the time slip.

Careful, Sean D. Mr. I want a Mandrel bent exhaust too.

It sounds really nice in person. It sounds kind of like a Ferrari especially at high end.

Sean's crappy video camera doesn't capture the sound like a calibrated ear at the track might. Just playing bro.

Careful there... I'm not the one who first called it "raspy". I was just saying "Raspy" because Pentoman refered it to that so I was using other peoples context's to contrast my car from the other. I did say it sounds good when it idles, you quoted me on it. the C36 beat me twice. the 1st race and the 3rd race out of 5 full races. My reaction time on the video was .129 and th C36's was .666 I will scan the time slip next time I'm at your casa Omega, my computers suck a banana peel covered penis.
