Have Intrax springs/KYB struts & shocks, AMG rims Dunlop VR 205/55/15s
What is next best step to flatten out cornering, bang-for-the buck? thicker sway bars? strut tower brace?

Much appreciated, Todd

I'd definantly go w/ a Strut tower brace from Delsing Motorsports and a 500E front anti sway bar.

Good luck.

Search the "strut bar" post of 3-18-2000. Apparently, the strut towers are not stressed members on these models, as they are on BMWs and numerous others...

If you want a AMG 500e swaybar contact me. I have one powder coated red with 1/2" cut from each end. It also comes with the bushings. I paid about 3 bills from Bekkers. you can have it for 75.00 and you do the shipping. GREAT deal. Its been modified for the 201 chassis and never used. Contact me at Surfnvet@aol.com

Surfnvet:

I might be interested in that bar. A couple questions: [1] What was your original intentions for that modified bar? [2] Are you positive it will fit a W201 chassis (I own a 1986 2.3-16V)? [3] How do you propose the transaction take place? Would you get a quote from Mailboxes Etc. and add up the total, then receive a check prior to shipping it out? [4] Are the bushings stock? Polyurethane? Fit stock W201 brackets?

Thanks!

Brian
