IMHO, not worth it, when you can get a C36 engine for about the same price in the USA.

The engine has 90 k miles on it, new headgasket, new oilpan, comes complete with wiringharness, etc. I think I would pass on this one. I can just imagine what kind of miles are on it. Can you say Autobahn ripping for most of it's life. P.S. I got your PM & may get back to you in the spring. Thanks.

I think the 3.4 has the same HP than the C36 engine, and it doesnt have a plastic intake, or did the C36 get a good one unlike the other late 104s? And this still has the 7000 RPMs. The only advantage of the C36 is the new technology with the coil on plug deal, which is either good or bad depending on how you look at it, i Cant imagine who would get an engine like that and not want to tune it, so the distributor would probably be ideal. 90K on the autobahn, I wouldnt worry about it, these drive strong forever. Mine has a 153K and i drive the hell out of it. But, after shipping etc, thats a real expensive engine and if you got a 104 anyway, its probably cheaper to have the engine work done.
