At the book store last week I bought an issue of bimmer magizine (sacralige) for an intresting article on DIY HID lights . They used the Ballast (?) and lights from a MarkVII
or something to install on a E36 BMW . I have a 90 560SEL and was wondering if I could use cannibalized parts to install xenons on my car , I can't find much for my car and I can Afford 400-500 dollars , not $2000. I don't think the headlight leveling system would matter too much because the car has it's own . Thanks guys+gals Nick P.S. Anybody know where to get some higher wattage back-up bulbs/lights? Xenon HID Upgrade!
Jesus, you have a combo bulb with low & high beam together. It is either the called the 9004 or H4. Xenon HID upgrades are for low beams only. If you converted to HID you would have no high beams. The upgrade article in BIMMER magazine used Lincoln parts from the Mark VIII.
