Just to let everyone know, I cut off the catalytic converter on my 95 Euro Spec C280. The exhaust note is noticeable louder than before even though I had an aftermarket muffler. Basically we ghetto-rigged the exhaust from the twin resonators going to the muffler via a stainless steel pipe which doesn't look too bad. The exhaust doesn't smell funny at all, and the car has more torque and horsepower, even low-end torque as well. Not a bad way to go make the car go faster! Comments...

Take out Cats has always been a fast performance increase method. However, you might need it back once you are dued for emission tests.
I have my Cat off on my now-sold 1988 Isuzu I-Mark RS, and it sound alot louder(straight pipe, front to end), and the engine respones faster... Anyways, have fun with the car... Andy Kuo ------------------
