Blackberry is a very unique color for W124 and W140 in 1992 and 1993. It's more like purple-ish grey...simpley beautiful!!!

I will try dig out some pictures of Blackberry W124 or W140....

Did they ever make a 126 in that color? I see a 420SEL that is a dark metallic purple. I never saw this color, and wonder if it's Blackberry

It looks very cool, and it's definitely unique/rare. It's not a shade that makes people (at least me) think "ewww, purple."

I also wonder what color "Bornit" is.

While we're on the subject, why do car manufacturers use such fancy names for colors? I had a "Jasper green" Acura that, to me, was aqua blue. One out of 10 people did say the car was green. I still like how GM named "medium blue metallic". Simple.

While I'm at it, what is the difference between "brilliant silver" and "astral silver"?

Robert, Bornit and Blackberry is the same colour...it's just called Bornit in Europe.
