Hello, I'am from Lithuania, I want to buy MB 400E, I thought that I won't find it in my country, but one unit I found, this car is from French, with very good complectation, there is everything instead seats heating, but it's not problem . And now I want to know everythink about these cars, how much litres petrol they takes in 100km, how many seconds till 100km (60mph), and other thinks what is important before buying car like this, because I am a little affraid to buy car without any information, because in our country are only 3 cars like this MB 400E/E420 (and 500E/E500 only 2), so it is very difficult to find more info about it, and I decided to search in other forum in all the world and I see that this forum is good enough and there are very clever men I see, so I'll be very thankfull for all information. Sorry for my english it's not very good, but I think you will understand what I want to say ?

Thank you very much, and waiting for answers
P.S. I hope you aren't angry on me, that I am writing from other country in your forum

The best advise I can give....

Now that you have found this site, is learn from the experiences of others. Read up as much as you can. There is a lot of information here--- I'm still trying to digest it all myself. Just remember, not everybody knows what they are doing or talking about even though they have good intentions. You just have to keep reading and see what the general consensus is (and hope the general consensus is right!) There are some good/sharp people here! To answer some of your questions, Car and Driver got 7.0 seconds 0-60 (in 1993), I average 20MPG in mixed city highway driving (with a very heavy foot) and one thing that is very important, try to get a history with the car (maintenance records/receipts etc.). I didn't and I've lived to regret it. (I still love the car though)
Regards, Eric
