How can i upgrade brakes on an '86 16V?

I need/want to do a major brake job on my "new" 16V. So, I'm thinking, go big rotors and calipers while I'm at it.

I did a search and all I found was a brief mention of changing the brakes out from a 400e, but no how-to's.

My questions are:
Has anybody upgraded their brakes?
What did you do?
What mods did you have to make?
Did it meet your expectations?

OK, after I typed the above post in, I went to the 190revolution site, and they have a write up saying I simply buy the parts for a 124 400e and bolt them on.

Just for snickers and grins, anybody reading this post ever done this?

interchange

i have no specific knowledge of your swap but benzes share a lot of parts from 190 up to the s class. be sure your wheels will fit over the new rotor caliper combo. good luck.

Make sure your SPARE tire also fits. You may need to carry a spacer.
