Which mods violate the warranty?

Does anyone know what sort of mods break the standard warranty ? And if they do, is an unmodified part of the car still warranted ? I've noticed some people tricking out brand new cars. I wanted to spice up my new ride, but it would just SUCK to have something go kablooie and end up paying big cake for it. Also, do the aftermarket tuners warrant their work ?
