If anyone cares, DRC of Portland is taking out a CLS 65 to Portland International Raceway this Saturday. Tickets are 8 bucks. The boss says he's going to try and get kicked off the track -which means run sub 12's.
I told him he's smoking crack. He knows he's dreaming, but he'll put it to the test anyway.

Just thought I'd let you all know in case you're a MB nut and like this sort of thing. It's an amazing vehicle!!

If it's not raining, I'll race him with my E500. It's $20 to race, $8 to spectate. Helmets required for all times under 14 seconds; roll bar required for all times under 13 seconds. Sub-12 won't get you kicked off the track. He'll likely get 1-2 runs in if in fact he is sub-12.

Do you guys realize that PIR usually only does a 1/8th mile run. At least everytime I've been that's what they run, maybe it's different on other nights.

This is incorrect, at least for the "open" Friday and Saturday night drag races. They do the full 1/4 mile.

Trust me, I have done it for the past 3-4 seasons.
