Lorinser 15 Hole

Has anyone seen these wheels before? Anyone have a picture of these wheels on a car? They are supposed to be made by Lorinser.

Those are the 16x9 15-holes by Lorinser. My friend has the 16x9's on his 280SL. I have a set of the 16x8's that need to be re-finished. The dish is not quite as deep. I don't have pictures but have seen both versions on cars. However, I have only seen them with R107/W123/W126 offsets, i.e. 11 to 22, so if you planned on putting them on a W124 they wouldn't work/they would stick out past the finder lip. They may have made them for the W124 but I have never seen them on one.

I really love the color of the finish and the deep dish of those wheels. I would love to see them on a W124.

How did they look on your friend's 280SL?
How did they look on your car? What car of yours were they on?

They look pretty nice on the 280SL, it has a Lorinser kit on it. They were on my W126 coupe and look good but I wanted something bigger.

Lorinser 8x16's ET11 on my 107....

Here's a pic of a set of Lorinser 8x16" ET11's on my 82 380sl. Please pardon the mess, as she's a work in progress. The insides and slots have been coated with some type of flat black "undercoating" type substance. Wish I had better pics but the light ain't good right now. I'm running 245/50/16's in the rear and 225/55/16's in the front. I'm really happy with them...

--Jay

p.s.--sorry, can't figure out how to load the pics at the moment......

Thanks for the pics! Your car looks like a Euro car. Is it? Those tires are real big. They'd never fit on my W124

Are those wheels in the first pics available for sale? I have some just like it in chrome, but they are needing to be refinished and I like the satin/brushed look of those.
