DuckMuck,
In regards to my question on the other post(with the white gauges) forget it, I didn't see this post first.
But, everyone said in order to do the upgrade to the 94/95 grill you had to change to the newer euro headlights. I don't think this person did an upgrade. To me, it looks like the same headlights, same car as the other post(with the white gauges. I'm probably wrong though, so maybe you do have to do the upgrade. These cars are sweet, very sweet.
Just when I think about getting rid of mine for something else I see these picture's and BAM! I must be having delusions.

Thats a beautiful 124! Anyone know what kind of kit that is? The front spoiler doesn't look like the AMG spoiler....I think the AMG spoiler is more squarish and the foglight openings are smaller on this kit. Duck Muck where did you find the pics?

It looks like an AMG front spoiler. This picture is from http://www.nrauto.com of the replication AMG kit for the W124:

keep note of the front spoiler on the 300CE Cabriolet, then compare it to his front spoiler:

in regards to the headlight, I'm not really sure what he did. maybe you can get a sense from this picture:

in terms of his flared fenders, it isn't merely a roll, he actually physically rebuilt the rear quarter panel:

if you guys wanna visit the actual page itself, the person is Japanese, and is located here:

The guy was trying to make his 300e to have the 500e flare after its rear quarter damaged. I read alot Japanese magazines showing some owners love to have 500e look alike on their 300e /400e body.

Are you sure that the top car is a 90' 300E? The grille and ornament appear to be from a '94... major modifications perhaps??

Looks great...

I believe all he did was paint the grill insert and have the grill color coated to match the car. I believe it's the original grill, if it's the second set of pictures you're taking about. The first set, Tuning Zubehor, sells the kit. The cap is $249., and the Avantgarde grill is another $250., total $500. Kind of steep for a grill upgrade, don't you think.

From looking at that site Duckmuck, it appears he may have just bought a 94-95 hood.

It also appears that orignally he had his chrome grille surround and grille insert and all color matched to the car.

It looks good, probably way too expense to go to that extreme though.

I'm thinking this, if you can just buy a used 94-95 hood with grille etc. paint it to match and throw it on the car, would it fit, and would the only issue be a slight lip going over the fog lights in the corner? If that was the case, would we all do it? I know I would do it. hehe

CHECK THIS LINK OUT!!! Thanks Duck for the link, I was able to find this one off of the one you gave us. It is called Expulsion. If you can't find it from the original page, here's the link: http://www.nurs.or.jp/~koba/hamon/ Then hit the fourth button down for some outrageous Benzes!!! BUT PLEASE---Go through the whole site as you will not regret it!! I only wish I could read Japanese, hell I lived there for 4 years but I was young and I didn't learn much of the language. I have to give it to the Japanese for being crazy about their cars. Browsing these Japanese pages takes up much of what I do during my spare time because their cars and sites are sooooo amazing. Go to my homepage for some great links to other Japanese sites. THANKS AGAIN DUCK!!

Alon,
Glad to see you are up at this hour too! Get those wheels! They would look amazing on your car. Man, I am still looking at that Expulsion site, I went through all of the car meetings and events and loved every second of it. Just wish we had clubs like they do. I'm lucky to have a hand full of modified benzes in Oklahoma City. Ohh well, glad I'm one of um! Check out ALL of that site and then go to the links page for more if you are as crazy for modified Benzes as I am. Later Alon, Scott
