Anybody every put a walker muffler on their Benz? The guy at the muffler shop told me it was built to OE specs. I got it there not just because it was $120 cheaper than at the dealer, adn installed for free (dealer wanted 1.5 hours to do the installation at custom labour rates) but mostly because it is guaranteed free replacement as long as I own my car (which will be a long time). The dealer muffler only had that 1 year warranty.

Will I be dissapointed? I haven't had it put on yet, they are waiting for the part, but I did put a deposit on it.

Walker as in Dynomax mufflers? Well...in a personal point of view (a very peronsal point of view), if this Dynomax was the performance single or dual chamber ones, than I wouldn't put it on a MBZ. From my experience with Dynomax, its really loud, but not necessary giving you the "tone" you might expect. It works great on Japanese imports(rice burners). All sound and no go

I had it put on this morning. It wasn't a dynomax, Quiet flow I think the call it. It runs just as quiet as with the previous ANSA muffler. I chose it for cost and warranty reasons.

can't beat the warranty. Mercedes pipes are really high quality steel and almost never rust thru...so hopefully it was just a cut and weld with no aftermarket steel added.
sounds like a deal
Ansa aftermarket quality sucks anyway.
