I hope you dont mind but I was messing with the pics you sent me of your car. If you are offended or do not want these posted just let me know here or via email and ill take it down.

Im not by anymeans an expert at this digital photo stuff but I thought I'd give it a try.

Stock:

Lowered:

Rims(Yeah the quality is really bad sorry, but I tried to do this really quick. the poportions are like WAY off):

Just thought I'd do this for grins but if you have any problems with it let me know and I'll take them down.

All I gotta say is WOW!!!....

I never thought about lowering the car or adding some massive wheels on the car, but now, you've got me thinking.

Are those 18" Brabus Monoblock V's??? I never really thought Brabus wheels would look good on a W124--until now. I always preferred 17" AMG Monoblocks. If you can do some more magic with the pics, please feel free to do so. Me and other 124 owners here would love to see different options available for our cars.

Thanks again...

Nokia, very nice indeed. a job well done. Those pics look very very good.

Now if you want, and you don't mind doing it, try find some EVO II Titanium pics with the pic showing the proper titanium color to slap on the pic of ducks black e420 or another 124 car. Then we would really be able to see how they would look, of course I will still be getting them regardless. hehe

Argon, I think your car would look sweet with those wheels and lowered. what a difference. The monotone job you had done looks excellent.

thanks for the comps. I was just working and remembered I had argons pics so I gave it a go.

If you have a pic of a car you want me to change and stuff just email it to me or post it here and I'll try my best.

email: joeyandmona@yahoo.com

Again, I'm not a professional and not even close to ameture level at the photoshop thing I just mess around but I'll be more than happy to "fix" some photos.

nokia8860,

The pix is up in the "these W124's look good" thread in this section (Performance Paddock) of the forum. ScottyC190E already did some awesome work on it...but the colour just isn't quite right. If you can grab the image from there, and have a look at the EVO II pix I posted in that thread too, and sorta get the titanium finish off the MOMO F1 Cup or the BBS RX that I posted, I think we've got a winner...

PS saw that you are gettin' married, congratulations!!!

Agron 80, I recall that you're in N.Y. I am too, in Nassau county, Oceanside. If you'd like perhaps, be a member of Mercedesshop.com NY chapter. Or we can just get together and have lunch. How much was the monotone paint job. I ahve a Smoke Silver Benz, and have the bompers fading, and need to apply B2B all the time. I never though that a car would look so good with a monotone paint.

Passing in the night

It's simply amazing that Agron and I live in the same borough of NY( he actually lives near my moms) and even though we've tried to set up a meeting, we haven't even passed each other on the road. I've met Dmitry a couple of times.

CaptAlex300:

I wouldnt mind being in the NY chapter of Mercedesshop.com, sounds like a fun thing. It would be fun meeting all the MB enthusiasts from around the way. I dont start school until next monday, so i'm gonna be off this whole week doing nothing. I have nothing to do except go to the gym, and experiment on the car, so anytime you wanna meet up just write me an e-mail. This goes for Richie and Dmitry also. It would be fun to take a ride out to LI meet up and have lunch. I believe that Dmitry has off on weekends and Richie is off in the afternoon (correct me if i'm wrong guys). I've been waiting a long time for all of us New Yorkers to get together--it should be fun. Anytime you fellas are ready, just give me a hollar...

The paint job cost me $450....

Agron80,

I would like too meet up with you. You go to Hofstra right? Perhaps we can meet somewhere near there, or even there (however the campus is large). you mentioned you spend lots of time at the gym,: do you mean the Health and Wellness center on Oak Street? Maybe this Friday.

Alex,

Friday sounds good. My last class gets out at 1:45pm, so we could be able to meet up around 2pm. Im not too familiar with nassau county so it would be good for me to meet up at a familiar place such as my school, the mall, nassau collosium, etc. I've been driving to LI for 3 years and the only place I know how to get to is Hofstra and Roosevelt Field Mall (believe it or not). I dont work out in LI, but I think I know what gym your talking about. I take the 19N exit off the SSP, but I dont know what street that is. I am familiar with Hempstead Turnpike, so anywhere in that vicinity is fine with me. Let me know what you want to do. Maybe we can get Richie, Yal and Dmitry to also come out there--How 'bout it guys??? My cell # is 917-705-7253, throw me a call anytime.

Lets meet up later, possibly around 3:00. We could have lunch or whatever. We could meet up at the School, but where in the school. Hofstra is very very big. We could also at the Nassua Collusium, after all I'll be there because of the boat show.

Meeting

Agron, Dmitry, Yal, Nokia8860, CaptAlex300e:
OK. We're starting to get enough people (of course it's tax season though). I still think we're missing a couple of members in the area though. I think we should find a central meeting point, settle on a positive date and just hook up. We all have to meet at some point. Keep in touch, my e-mail is listed.
