Umm, don't you mean to say, this is what my new rims WILL look like since it is a pic of Masayuki's car? Can't wait to see the car after you get them.

Looking good there Adam. I like the front spoiler.

Can't wait to see it when you are done. And can't wait to see the wheels on your car.

Now, THAT is the color windows a car should have; are they coated or is it a kind of "folie" that is stuck on?

Are you going to lower the car as well (in combination with the better looking wheels)?

Keep up the good mods!

i not shure what options you have in Europe but my car has tinted film. pretty expensive stuff though looks original, hard to scratch, will supposedly stop shotgun pellets!
matches the paint great!

tinted film...is it something you can stick on your windows yourself or is it like a coating that is brought on the (removed) windows as a liquid by a professional?

I, for instance, had my windows coated with a kind of liquid that gets as hard as glass.

You film matches the color of the car indeed (that is exactly why I have chosen a blue colored coating...

generally here you can have your widows done a couple of ways.

one is the standard method of applying platic film to the windows. Not too expensive to have done.

Next is to have the windows actually dipped. gets expensive. windows have to be removed from the car.

I would think there is another method which is a liquid that is wipedon or something.

Personally if you want it to last, getting it dippedis the best method. if you want it to be done cheaply, film is the easiest.

Ashman,

thanks for the info...

I had my windows "dipped" as you call it; I have taken them out (all around, including front & rear) to have them dipped/coated with a 30% darkened blue, infrared reflecting coating. A 50% or 70% darkened tint was possible as well, but not legal in the Netherlands on the front & side (front) windows...

yeah we cant tint the front windows or windshield in california. We can tint the back darker, but they have changed the laws so limo black can get you pulled over if the cop wants to do it.

We can tint the front windows a very little bit. but the windshield is a no no.

Other states may have different laws regarding tint, but out here you can't go all out. people do it all the time though.

the plastic film lasts for a while, until it bubbles, peels, or gets scratched.

The dipping method while more expensive to me is the best method. its a strong coating, that will last for a while.
