Too late! The car isn't half bad.. only things I can see wrong are a slight engine miss at a rattling catalyitic converter. It's really filthy so I'll take some photos when I get it fully detailed.

Good luck. Given your location on the East Coast, I am sure that there is at least surface corrosion on the underside as well. I hope this doesn't turn out to be an expensive boondoggle for you.

No rust on the body at all. I'm sure I'll find some surface corrosion on the underside if I look. The car was in GA with it's original owner until 9/2000 and 109,000 miles.

I may be looking to sell my 500E cheap as well.

It's over 160k miles (bought it at 130-something k). Body is probably a 6/10 and interior is 7/10. It has had some trouble holding a charge. My mechanic has had the car for over 4 weeks, waiting for a replacement control module.

I am in Tampa, Florida and am moving to Northern California later this year. While I love the car, I do not think I can justify the cost of shipping it.

I've taken good care of her, but she may need more work (wiring harness for instance. I did both upper and lower timing chains and rails at 150k).

If anyone is interested in learning more and exploring a deal, please let me know. Thanks.
