Isn't this the way it goes? Last year when I was looking for a silver over gray 500E, all that was available seemed to be pearl black ones. I ended up flying from Georgia to New York to get mine this past summer.
Now I just did a quick look on Autotrader and there are at least FOUR silver 500Es for sale in Atlanta! So, for those of you that want a hot rod and prefer their MBs in traditional silver, they're out there now! Tim Vacula '92 500E

There is a high-miles (97k) green 500E for sale at a dealer in L.A. I haven't decided whether to take it down--the color is beautiful--and drop it off at Brabus for uprated running gear. The color is a grabber, though.
