Didn't the Evolution and Evolution II sell for a small fraction of that price? My 2.3-16v was only about $35k when new, and I think the Evos were in the 50-60k range.

I am sure that the performance is out of this world but it looks like a bloody ricer tuner car. The rear tail looks like a Mtsh EVO wanabe. The front flares are barely acceptable, the rears are butt ugly. It just does not flw in my opinion. If I had that car I would give it to Chip Foose and ask him to "fix" it.

May be true, but an Evo2 has 235 HP, and this CLK vehicle 583 HP.... 7gears, ceramic brakes, lots of carbon fibre......
I have been overtaken by one of these at the Nurburgring, driving my 190 2.3-16, and it looked if I was standing still...These cars are VERY fast....
