hey everyone..i need advice on engine upgrades for my 1985 mercedes e 200 w124.its got a 2000cc carb engine all stock..performace is not what i expected a 2000cc engine to be so iam planing to upgrade..whats the best solution for me?splitfire,splitfire wires,carb air filter,any other ideas?and what to upgrade first and how much horsepower will it increase?thankz for ur help(if anyone has any idea how much horsepower this engine has i would appreciate it)

sell it and get a car with a bigger engine. you are not going to get any performance from a nearly 4000lb (1700kg) car with only 2 liters of displacement and no fuel injection to boot.
