I am going to install some H&R springs on my mercedes c230 kompressor sport and am wondering if I need to get some bilstein sports for my car while I do it or if I don't need them. I was told yesterday that I don't but many have said I needed to. I know the sport version comes with sport shocks but should I upgrade. I tend to corner alot and have autocrossed in the past, but do I need to spend the extra money and will it ruin my stock sport shocks if I install the H&R's?
thanks cavan |

With the struts & shocks already being either Sachs/Boge or Bilsteins from the factory, why spend money unless the springs are going to lower the car 2-3 inches?

All MB's have bump stops that protect the strut/shocks from bottoming out. Shouldn't be any problem lowering the car.
