does anyone know where i can find torque and horsepower curves for the 2.6li M103 engine?
i notice that on wet roads, when i floor the throttle in first gear (this is a 5spd) after gently engaging it, the rear tires begin to slip at around 2800rpm, indicating a sudden torque increase in that region. similarly, when i put the hammer down in 3rd gear on the onramp, i notice another sudden torque rise at around 4200rpm. I know that the torque peak is at around 4800rpm, but it would help to know where in the torque curve the torque rises sharply. the better to engage this rev-happy motor ... and right foot ... |
