1999 CLK 320 Suspension question - hard hits

Hey all,

How is it going!?

About a year ago I changed my shocks (my car was hitting bumps and "imperfections" in the road LOL and was really crashing hard with no return from the hit). So I changed the shocks to a Bilstein shock all around.

So since then they car STILL hits just as hard BUT NOW has a spring like return(so much that you bounce out of your seat)... my concern is that the HIT IS WAY TOO HARD. It actually triggers the cutoff switch for the engine(like when you get into an accident)

so my question is.... is my problem a suspension prob(other than shock) or will a different shock be better and solve this??

Thank you in advance for your time,
Mo

Check to be sure you didnt put the front shocks in the rear n vice versa. The two shocks look pretty much the same but fronts installed in the rear bottom out way too soon. We won't go into how I know this...
