Hi guys,
does anybody know where I can get an AMG hood emblem ..? (This is for replacing the mercedes hood-star).
I am just curious cause I know that AMG actually has a round logo', but I haven't seen actually hood-emblem.

Never seen an AMG badge, but have seen several Brabus badges (but the black Brabus badge won't go very well with your silver C AMG...).
Have you tried the AMG web site?

Damn man,

Why you want this hood badge? I thought you wanted a black hood badge with a chrome ring and the words ///AMG in chrome or white across the badge...wouldn't that be more tasteful? Sorta like the Carlsson badge...you know what I'm talkin' about right? You like that "green tree" or whatever it is in the AMG badge I posted? hmmm...I will ask for you...but where are you located? Are you in SoCal? If you are, then it might be easier if you just called up d2technik and ask 'em if they have that badge, 'cause that is where I got the pix: http://www.d2technik.com I don't think you'll have much luck though but it is worth a shot...

What do you drive anyways? I was lookin' at your profile to see if you were in SoCal so you could go to d2technik, but all it says is ///MPower and ///AMG...you got M3 or M5 stashed away in your garage??? You should really take advantage of your signature like me!!! Even if you don't say what you drive in signature, you can at least confuse the hell outta everybody by writing weird stuff, like what I do...ho ho ho...laterZ

I was asking this (tree emblem) because I saw the logo once.
And yes I think that is where I found this emblem too.(www.d2teknik.com)
So have you actually ever seen this black emblem with ///AMG letter and chrome ring...? I thought this is never exist, that's why I don't bother asking.

I drive a C36 and a modified E36 325i
BTW I live in Indiana

That there AMG roundel is called heritage... it may be ugly but its kind of nice. And anyway, like it or not it's the correct badge.

It's comparable to the Alpina roundel: check out http://www.alpina.de

That has a wierd carburetor thing and a crankshaft in it. But no tree.

Actually, I've seen the black AMG emblem with chrome ring before, but it was definitely fake...I saw it in a japanese car accessory shop LONG ago...

PS if you drive E36 325i, then I'm guessin' u frequent bimmer.org. You do recognize "DuckMuck" right? I'm a celebrity
