Alright, after a stint of owning a subaru wrx, I am longing to come back to an MB as my daily driver. Funny, my 190E still runs alright and that thing is like 13 years older than the Subie. Hell, at least I don't have to worry about a benz tranny shooting gear teeth all over the pavement every 5 months. I would discourage anybody from owning a non-STi wrx, the transmissions are garbage.

Anyway, I want to continue on with a newer car... I'm thinking a 2.3L c230K sport coupe would provide an affordable/reliable re-entry to german engineering.

Anybody have any comments on this car? Particularly, what options would I have for an increase in performance? I have yet to test drive, so I'm just sort of getting a feel for whether or not this would be a worthwhile purchase.
