Gentlemen,

The Cumberland Valley Corvette Club (C.V.C.C.) must follow/enforce very strict safety guidelines pertaining to the construction and reinforcement of your car’s rollbar. If you were planning to attend the CVCC sponsored event at Pocono raceway please reread the rules and regulations.

Unfortunately I will not be able to participate with my 500 SL due to the lack of supporting bars on the factory rollbar. David from CVCC was very understanding and will refund my money, but man am I depressed.

Does anyone know of any of any other driving schools / events where the factory rollbar of a SL is acceptable.

Thanks
tony

Lack of supporting bars?!? PLEASE! That is such a drag-very sorry to hear of your disqualification.

Anyway, what about hte event sponsored by the New England Corvair Council? They have several events they're running and perhaps they will let you run. I did a post on their events recently...do a Search for more info.

Good luck!
