I will do my best to post some visible pictures of my RENNTech front sway bar; however, as installed (especially with the engine encapsualtion in place), it is barely visible.

Essentially, it is just a bigger/thicker/stronger replacement for the OEM part.

Is the picture "cooling component 2" that of the oil cooler?

At any rate, I notice that it has a stamp of the MB star and has a part number. I understand from Bob Brady of RENNTech that Euro versions of the 500E come with oil coolers stock. Is this the same part (which we could otherwise order direct from an MB dealer) has RENNTech done modifications to it? If the latter, how have they modified this? Is there a quantifiable difference?

I couldn't quite make out the part number from the picture...would you have the MB part number?

You are 100% correct: the European versions of the 500E/E500 do, in fact, come standard with an additional oil cooler. The oil cooler radiator mounts inside the front bumper. I will post installation instructions and images to my website as soon as I receive them from RENNTech (Bob Brady is still creating said documentation for me).

I am very excited about installing my latest RENNTech modifications. Cooler is better - and we all know how hot
it can get under the hood of a 119 motor!

Sorry, I'm a bit confused as I haven't had the chance to see all these RENNTech parts just yet. Is the radiator (show in your pictures) for the oil cooler or for the transmission cooler? Or do both the oil cooler and transmission cooler have separate radiators?

Am I making sense?

Ricky:

Both the engine oil cooler and the transmission oil cooler utilize their own radiators. The black (Setrab) radiator is for the transmission oil cooler and the silver (Baer) radiator is for the engine oil cooler.

The Mercedes-Benz (OEM) part number for one of the components of the engine oil cooler is: 119-180-06-11.

I will take better (daylight) pictures of all the RENNTech cooling parts at lunch, today. I will post them NLT 2100 hrs, tonight.
