Why all the 'night' stuff? Can't see anything? Console pic is two glowing LEDs? Do you have 'daylight' shots?

The download were quick as a wink this AM, so must have been a site problem.

Your car looks fantastic, very special indeed.

Did you take a long time over the pictures, or is it just good luck that they came out so well? I'd be interested to see more. Also, they all downloaded pretty fast onto my machine all the way over here in the UK.

What's happening with the stalling problem?

I am still evaluating my stalling problem: in a week or two, I will replace my fuel pump relay.

Hello...this is your best W124 friend DuckMuck!!! Can I ask you a question? I see your door handles, and you monochromed them like the AMG Hammer...I look at your car, and I see a lot of styling cues from the Hammer, which I greatly admire. Back to door handles, I can't find a close up shot of them, but how did you monochrome them? The handles are originally black with a chrome insert in the middle. However, I don't see the line where the chrome center meet the black, so did you actually get some sorta aftermarket door handle and them monochrome them? They look like single piece. Do you have close up of the door handles? Also, are you gonna rip off your passenger side rear view mirror like the AMG Hammer?

As purchased, my 500E did not have the chrome strip (center) door handles; as such, I had all the handles removed, sanded, and painted along with the rest of the car, about 6 months ago. I left all rubber gaskets black, to avoid unsightly cracking, later, and the "homemade paint-job" look.

I will take a close up shot of a door handle and post it, by 10PM (PDT) tonight.

Where did you get those AMG door sills? I would like to get Mercedes-Benz door sills for my 300E. My S320 allready hsa them and it looks great!

Cool Car one of the most "unstealthy"....."keep um guessing kind of 500E's I ve ever seen.
