I just received my Sportline front sway bar for my E320 wagon (purchased from this site). The bushings appear to have the Teflon/Polyester stocking on the inner diameter. The question is this: how do I get the inner bushings past the sharp 90-degree bend in the sway bar? Do I split the bushing? I don't think I can push it on around this tight-radius bend. Or did my DIY project just take a turn towards having a pro install the bar and bushings?

All help appreciated.

Thanks

Bill

The OE bushings will go on with-out a problem, we use a special water based bushing solvent that looks like thin milk. I'm sure that spray silicon wouldn't hurt.
